Instructional Content
I create instructional content to help users learn how to do something confidently—not just fix a problem. My focus is on guiding users through a process step by step, building understanding along the way, and making complex tasks feel achievable.
I approach instructional content as a learning experience. I think about what users need to know first, what can be introduced later, and how content can support different learning styles through structure, clarity, and visuals.
Strategy
Define the learning goal—what the user should be able to do by the end. From there, I identify the key steps, concepts, and decisions the user needs to understand, and I sequence the content to build confidence gradually.
Design
Design instructional content to be structured, predictable, and easy to follow. This includes clear sectioning, numbered steps, visual hierarchy, and callouts that highlight important details or common pain points.
User Experience
Write instructional content in plain, encouraging language and anticipate where users might hesitate or feel unsure. By addressing those moments directly, I help users move forward with confidence instead of second-guessing their actions.
I create instructional content by combining content strategy, information design, and UX writing to guide users through complex tasks step by step. I focus on clear learning goals, structured layouts, and approachable language to support understanding and confidence.
